About Us

Pickling & Canning

Mehsling Farms was established many years ago.  Uncle Joe started simple.  Growing his own peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers and learning to hand craft recipes for canning.  The product line has such favorites as Uncle Joe's Famous (Spicy Pickles), Hot Bread & Butter Pickles, Red Salsa, Spaghetti Sauce, Sauerkraut, and the award winning Green Stuff (Tomatillo Salsa).  Someday Uncle Joe is going to retire from his day job and devote his time to expanding his garden, getting a Canning Trailer (professional kitchen) and maybe opening up a farmstead somewhere.  For now, he'll just keep working on his recipes and processes.
